AIPSCOM Convergence Laboratory research is based on four research and development areas: Soft Computing, Blockchain, AI, and IoT: the core technologies that will inevitably lead the 4th Industrial Revolution. We are currently conducting diverse research projects, ranging from smart healthcare, security and intrusion detection, smart cities, convergence standards for IoT platforms, intelligent software development, and convergence applications of IoT, blockchain, and machine learning for real-life Interdeciplarly research applications..

Blockchain is a decentralized, distributed ledger technology that enables secure and transparent record-keeping of digital transactions. Internet of Things (IoT)

AI and machine learning

Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are related fields that involve the development of algorithms and computer programs that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as perception, reasoning, learning, and decision-making..

Soft computing

Soft computing is a branch of artificial intelligence that aims to develop intelligent systems that can deal with uncertainty, imprecision, and incomplete information. It involves the use of various computational techniques that are inspired by biological systems and natural phenomena, such as neural networks, fuzzy logic, and genetic algorithms..

Convergence Application

Convergence applications refer to the integration of different technologies or services to create new and innovative applications or solutions that can meet the evolving needs of users. The convergence of technologies such as computing, communication, and multimedia has led to the development of new applications.

AI and machine learning

Practical Insights:

The Research Traineeship Programme commences annually in December-January.

Students commit 30 hours per week for a span of 7 months.

Research guildline and concepts are provided in both English and Urdu languages.

Participants receive quarterly compensation for their dedicated involvement in the form of stipend.

Bachelor' or Master's degree for the traineeship is a prerequisite.

New research positions and opportunities are unveiled each November.

Who Qualifies?

Motivated individuals aspiring to gain hands-on experience in academic research are encouraged to apply. The programme is tailored for Bachelor's students and (Research) Master's students in physcial space of the SCIEKORE Institute.Exceptional students can avail opportunity as remote research trainee.

Other than active research, the candidate will be working with modern technologies and computer programming languages such as python.
